8. Why is the installation position of the worm gear important?

It is important to pay attention to the installation position of the worm gear, as it determines the amount of gear oil required. It must be ensured that the wearing parts work in an oil bath.

For the CMRV series, the oil quantity is the same for all installation positions up to size 90. The installation position is only important from size 110 onwards.
